Second Call for Poster Papers

The 37th American Society for Precision Engineering Annual Meeting will feature tutorials, technical paper presentations, poster sessions, a student challenge, commercial exhibits, technical tours and many opportunities for networking and recruiting.   Bellevue is located nine miles from downtown Seattle, just across Lake Washington and is the economic hub of the Seattle region’s Eastside. The Puget Sound region is home to some of the world’s best known and most successful companies, as well as top-ranked universities. The Hyatt Regency Bellevue is conveniently located in downtown Bellevue with walkable access to retail, dining, entertainment and the arts.

The Planning Committee is seeking extended abstracts to be considered for POSTER papers. Technical sessions will focus on these areas:

  • Controls and Mechatronics
  • Metrology Systems
  • Precision Design
  • Precision Manufacturing
  • Micro and Nano Technologies
  • Surface Characterization and Applications of Measurement Science

If your extended abstract is accepted, it will be published in the Proceedings of the 37th ASPE Annual Meeting and will be made available to all attendees during the week of the conference.  All poster presentations will be in-person in Bellevue.

Please follow these instructions when submitting your abstract:

  • Submit your 4-6 page extended abstract no later than Wednesday, August 31, 2022
  • Send your extended abstract in PDF format to executive@aspe.net.
  • In the subject of the e-mail, please write Second Call for Poster Papers.

Key Dates

Wednesday, August 31, 2022:  Deadline for submission of the 4-6 page abstract.

Friday, September 2, 2022: Presenters must be registered for the conference by this date. REGISTRATION POLICY:  ASPE policy requires that all attendees including members, nonmembers, authors, invited speakers, and session chairpersons pay the appropriate registration fees.

Saturday, September 17, 2022: Hotel cutoff date, meaning that after this date, Hyatt Regency Bellevue cannot guarantee that there will be sleeping rooms available at the ASPE preferred rate.

Monday – Friday, October 10-14, 2022: 37th ASPE Annual Meeting at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue, Bellevue, Washington, USA

Student Challenge and Mentoring Session
ASPE is bringing back its highly successful Student Challenge and Mentoring Session to this year’s Annual Meeting.  Students who are registered for the conference are welcomed to enter the Challenge and attend the mentoring session.
