The American Society for Precision Engineering is offering scholarship grants to help students to defray the costs of participating in the 35th ASPE Annual Meeting. This award will include the waiver of the conference registration fee and 4 tutorial fees, and will provide $1,000 towards travel, hotel, and meal expenses. The recipient’s university is responsible for covering the remaining expenses.
With a 10-year student endowment from Dr. Graham Siddall, ASPE is very pleased to offer the Graham Siddall Scholarship to recognize a student scholar in the field of precision engineering. This prestigious award is valued at $2,500 and will support the student winner in the form of waived conference and tutorial fees and a stipend to cover the travel costs to the 35th Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, MN.
Applications will be reviewed by the Education Scholarship Committee. Criteria used in selecting each recipient include the following:
- The candidate must be pursuing a masters or doctoral thesis at an accredited university and must be a full-time student.
- The completed “ASPE Scholarship Grant Application” form.
- The abstract that you submitted (or authored) for the 35th ASPE Annual Meeting; the Education Scholarship Committee must deem the student’s work of sufficient quality to merit an oral or poster presentation.
- The completed “Reference Report” form and a letter of recommendation by the student’s thesis advisor.
The 3 documents, 1) the “ASPE Scholarship Grant Application”, 2) the reference report and 3) the recommendation letter are due on or before July 26, 2020. and should be e-mailed to email@example.com
