LaSheena Ramone – Navajo Technical University

My name is LaSheena Ramone, I am a class of 2021 senior at Navajo Technical University, studying Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Computer Engineering. As a young Navajo woman, who lives on the reservation, where we have limited resources, I am able to do the most with what I have, especially with technology. I have interned with Command and Control under the Department of Defense and after graduation, I am interning with Sandia National Laboratories. For over a year now, I have been a research assistant under Dr. Romine, head of EE at NTU, doing numerous projects.
