ASPE’s Spring Topical Meeting on Dimensional Accuracy and Surface Finish in Additive Manufacturing will be held in Sibley Auditorium in the Bechtel Engineering Center on the Campus of UC-Berkeley in Berkeley, California, USA.  From the shore of the San Francisco Bay, through its Pacific plain, and rising sharply to a foothill range, Berkeley is a city that occupies a classic stretch of coastal California. Berkeley is a vibrant and spirited city, filled with twists and turns of terrain that enabled Berkeley to develop with a sylvan integration of shops, parks, streets and greenbelts. Leafy avenues and craggy hillsides cradle a vibrant metropolitan city scene.

A full-day tutorial with five speakers and a half-day tutorial will precede this three-day technical meeting where the focus will be on Dimensional Accuracy and Surface Finish from Additive Manufacturing (AM), Design for Manufacturing, Standards, Using AM-Fabricated Components in Precision Assemblies, Combining AM with Secondary Finishing Operations, Metrology and Mechatronics and Controls for Achieving Dimensional Tolerances. There will be ample time allocated for professional networking and social events.
