Portland’s most recent neighborhood transformation is located
right in the heart of downtown. Since the late 1990’s Portland
has transformed this area from warehouses and railroad yards to a trendy
neighborhood blossoming with art galleries and high-rise condos. Here
you will find the renowned Powell’s City of Books, as well as
famous breweries that can only be found in the Brewery Blocks of Portland.
This area continues to grow as boutiques, galleries, theaters and restaurants
fight for space in this district.
